Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026 · Version 1.2

This policy explains what data Rookie Works and its apps collect, what we use it for, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.

01 Who we are

Rookie Works ("we", "the studio") is an independent software studio based in Venezuela that develops and publishes mobile applications. We are the data controller for the data described in this policy.

For anything privacy-related, you can email us at rookieworksdev@gmail.com.

02 Scope

This policy applies to all apps published by Rookie Works on Google Play and other stores, including Sudokufy (package identifier com.rookieworks.sudokubloom), as well as to this website. Where an app has specific data practices, we disclose them on its store listing.

03 What data we collect

We design our apps to collect the minimum necessary. We don't ask you to create an account or enter personal data to use them.

Data our providers collect automatically

Through the third-party service we integrate (Google AdMob), the following may be collected automatically:

Data you give us voluntarily

Only what you choose to send us, for example if you email us. In that case we keep your email address and message content to reply to you.

04 How we use data

We use the information to:

We do not sell your personal data for money.

05 Advertising (Google AdMob)

Our apps may show ads through Google AdMob. To do so, Google and its advertising partners may collect and process advertising identifiers, approximate location, device information, and ad-interaction data, in order to serve and measure advertising.

Depending on your region and preferences, ads may be personalized (based on your activity) or non-personalized. In regions that require it (such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland) we show a consent message so you can choose before personalized ads are loaded.

Google's processing of data is governed by its own policy. You can learn how Google uses information from apps that use its services here:

You can reset or limit your Advertising ID, or turn off personalized ads, from Settings › Google › Ads on your Android device.

06 Children and families

Some of our apps may be suitable for a mixed audience that includes minors. We comply with the Google Play Families Policy and applicable laws such as COPPA.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the minimum age that applies in your country). When an app is directed at children or a mixed audience, we configure the advertising SDKs to treat the user accordingly — for example, requesting only non-personalized ads and limiting data collection.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal data, email us at rookieworksdev@gmail.com and we will delete it.

07 Third parties and sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information with providers who deliver services to us and act under their own privacy policies:

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and prevent fraud.

08 Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes described. Advertising identifiers are managed by Google under its own timelines. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to handle your request.

09 Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect information and work with providers that do the same. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your data.

10 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have different rights over your data. We honor them for any user who contacts us.

ARCO and general rights

You may request Access, Rectification, Cancellation (deletion), and Objection to the processing of your data.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. The legal bases we rely on are your consent (for personalized ads) and our legitimate interest (for security and product improvement). You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may know what information is collected, request its deletion, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money; using identifiers for personalized advertising may be considered "sharing", and you can turn it off by using non-personalized ads as described above.

To exercise any right, email us at rookieworksdev@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

11 International transfers

Our providers (mainly Google) may process data on servers located in the United States or other countries. These transfers are carried out with the safeguards required by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.

12 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. We will post the revised version at this same address and update the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
